Located majorly in the Himalayan Range, Jammu and Kashmir is the northernmost state of India. The region has been the centre of territorial conflict among India, Pakistan and China and has been given special autonomous status by the Constitution of India under Article 370. Jammu is the winter capital of the region with Srinagar being the summer capital.
